"Unsticking The Story Within"
with Kristen Taylor-McClain
“Unsticking the Story Within” is a workshop designed for playwrights of all experience levels who feel blocked, overwhelmed, or unsure where to begin—especially when approaching emotionally complex or deeply personal material. This is not about forcing a story out, but about creating the conditions for it to emerge.
Through a supportive and thoughtfully guided process, participants will explore ways to gently access and release what feels stuck. Using a combination of somatic practices, reflective journaling, and interactive storytelling exercises, artists will reconnect with their instincts, their voice, and the emotional core of their work.
